Community Partners: The David and Lucill…

As a mother of three and a full-time employee with Santa Clara County Office of Education, Sandy relies on the quality of our Bay Area afterschool programs. She says, “[The programs provide] enrichment activities, the homework center, and the opportunity to play sports that a lot of schools have cut out.” Her kids have been enrolled with Think Together since our merger with Bay Area After School All Stars in 2013.

We have high standards for our award-winning programs and the staff that run them. Support from The David and Lucille Packard Foundation and The Sobrato Family Foundation fund staff training and development to ensure we meet those high standards. Our teams increase their knowledge and skills around program quality, compliance, and leadership development. Sobrato also provides a significant contribution to our Bay Area administrative offices, as well as access to their community center where we host new hire orientations and training events. We are constantly adapting to new advancements in the education field to ensure our programs stay relevant and effective.

With the support of our community partners, we will continue to provide quality programs to Sandy’s kids. She knows they are safe and cared for while she’s at work: “The staff are on the same side as the parents – we want our kids to do well, we want them to be healthy and happy and to have a lot of experiences and Think Together provides that for them.”
