Early learning programs provide essential support during children’s crucial developmental years, preparing them for success in school and life. Think Together’s programs use engaging, hands-on activities to build literacy, math, and social-emotional skills.

A study by MIT revealed that children who participated in high-quality early learning programs were more likely to:

  • Graduate from high school
  • Take the SAT
  • Enroll in college on time
  • Experience fewer school suspensions and lower rates of juvenile incarceration

Programs like our General Childcare and Development (CCTR) initiative go beyond academics to provide a lifeline for families who need it most. Through personalized care and strong communication, CCTR creates a bridge of trust and support between families and providers. For families, this program is more than childcare—it’s peace of mind.

“After coming across Think Together services I was able to enroll my child in the CCTR program. The first week was so hard for me and my daughter as I had to leave her in a childcare program. After the first week I told myself I was going to stop working and not take my child anymore to childcare as I kept questioning myself if I was doing the right thing. I spoke to my family childcare provider, and she assured me that my daughter was doing good and if there was any concern, she will call me to let me know. I can say that my daughter now cries when I pick her up because she does not want to come home with me. This speaks to how safe my child feels being in childcare and brings me peace of mind to know she is being cared for while I go to work.”

Early learning initiatives like CCTR offer much more than developmental support—they create stability, confidence, and a nurturing environment where children can thrive. When a child feels safe and happy, it’s not just their world that grows—their family does too.

With nearly 180,000 students served across 600 schools, we are a leader in afterschool, early learning, and non-instructional day programs. These initiatives work together to create a seamless educational journey for children, offering consistent support at every stage. Whether through academic reinforcement, enrichment accelerators, or social-emotional learning, our programs empower children to reach their full potential.
