How Corporate Partners are Inspiring Change at Think Together
With over 200,000 Think Together students across California, it takes a village to ensure each student is provided with the essential tools to grow into the best version of themselves. With the help of our corporate partners, Think Together can provide well-rounded experiences, allowing students to expand their knowledge in the classroom and prepare for life beyond the school bell.
Safer Roads Begin with Safer Drivers
As students prepare for life after high school, Think Together is doing more than helping them get ready for college and careers. Through a partnership with State Farm, high school students can take a free driver’s education course through State Farm’s DriveSafe program, bringing the rules of the road directly into the classroom.
For Samantha, a Think Together student at Dwight D. Eisenhower High School, this course has provided the knowledge needed to approach the road with confidence.
“I knew the basics when it comes to cars, but this course helped me gain more insight into cars,” said Samantha. “I also got to learn a lot about being a safe driver.”
State Farm focuses on safety for all drivers “From Car Seat to Driver’s Seat™”. By equipping students with practical knowledge and safety skills, the program helps prepare them for an important milestone while encouraging responsible decision-making behind the wheel.
Bringing Communities Together with PNC
There was no shortage of smiles, laughter and community spirit at Carl Thornton Park. With the support of the PNC Foundation, Think Together families and Orange County locals were able to access essential resources, product boxes and diapers while also enjoying games and free food at the park.
To extend that impact, PNC also participated in Think Together’s Little Hands, Strong Families, Big Futures event, which brought together more than 100 attendees, including Think Together students and their families. Ahead of the event, PNC volunteers assembled 270 learning kits, which were then distributed to families to take home and enjoy.
For more than 20 years, the PNC Foundation, through its signature philanthropic initiative PNC Grow Up Great®, has collaborated with community-based nonprofits like Think Together to help children develop a lifelong love of learning while connecting families and educators to high-quality early education resources that support student success. Events like this strengthen communities by providing access to valuable services and learning opportunities.
