Think Together and the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation Take a Swing to Boost Literacy

The Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation held its final LA Reads event of the 2024 season in partnership with Think Together on Thursday, Dec. 5, at Ruth Grimes Elementary School in Colton Unified School District.

Nearly 200 students at the school had the privilege of listening to former Dodgers pitcher Dennis Powell read a copy of Anne Higginbottom’s book, Bigger Than Me. Each student received Dodgers swag and an individual copy of the book.

Thank you to The Sun, the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin, The Press-Enterprise, and Redlands Daily Facts for their coverage of this event!
