Read For The Record 2016


This year, THINK Together’s Early Learning Program is mobilizing staff and volunteers at sites across California to read The Bear Ate Your Sandwich by Julia Sarcone-Roach on Thursday, October 27. And you can join us! Here’s how:

  1. Register to readget the book and read it to the children in your life.
  2. Bring children to a THINK Together reading sites – our featured locations that day will be Pretend City in Irvine and Shalimar Learning Center (info below).
  3. Join the campaign on social media with #ReadfortheRecord#thinkliteracy, #thinkwhoateyoursandwich, @THINKTogether (Instagram/Facebook) @THINK_Together (Twitter)

At THINK Together, we are committed to helping preschool-age children develop their language and literacy skills so they are prepared for kindergarten and beyond. Read for the Record is a chance to celebrate the power of reading to make a difference in our kids’ lives!

Join #THINKBear on his adventures around THINK Together as he promotes Jumpstart’s 2016 Read for the Record national campaign. This year’s campaign book is “The Bear Ate Your Sandwich” by Julia Sarcone-Roach, starring none other than #THINKBear’s big brother, “Bear”.
