Meet Ana.
“In a traditional Hispanic culture, there is a pervasive idea that women are expected to get married, have children, and be housewives,” she shares, “I came to the realization that believing in this idea is completely wrong. Society does not make me who I am; people cannot choose how I live my life.” Ana attended one of Think’s high school programs and was awarded the Faces of the Future Scholarship at Raise a Hand 2018, our annual event.
Ana is attending UCLA this fall and plans on going to law school after. She says, “My goal is to have a nonprofit organization to help homeless people.” Congratulations Ana – thank you for making a difference!
